Ask Big Questions is uniting with more than 30 organizations (and counting!) across the country in a movement to build connection and understanding. Through conversations – and the relationships they build – we take steps to bridge the divides that so many of us are feeling. The National Week of Conversation is a chance for Americans to come together to listen to and talk with each other. The goal is civil conversation, not agreement. Respectful and meaningful conversations can help us see and hear each other and build the relationships we need to work and live together as a society.
The National Week of Conversation (NWOC) will take place April 20-28, 2018 in communities all across the country. During this week, anyone who wishes is invited to participate in a conversation, with an emphasis on talking with people who may have different backgrounds or political views. Ask Big Questions and dozens of other partners are collaborating to provide tools for NWOC conversations and we encourage you to participate!
However it works for you, we encourage you to gather a group - whether it's people who know each other well or people who have never met - and take this time to experience the connection and healing a good conversation can bring.
